Other Grades

The aim of Langley Alloys is to efficiently distribute a range of high-performance corrosion resistant alloys from stock. Unlike other stockists who may claim to carry stock in a large numbers of alloys, then trade with other stockists, we believe in a more honest and transparent approach. Generally speaking, “if we say it, we stock it”.

With several thousand tonnes of stock under our roof, or incoming from our partners, at any point in time we aim to carry sufficient stock to meet the vast majority of requirements ex-stock. In addition, we carry up to 40 different sizes for our core grades, and nearly one hundred different sizes of hollow bar, in order to minimise material and machining costs for our customers. However, the very largest of project or bespoke requirements means that we will draw upon the support of our mill partners.

As the distribution partner for Alleima and voestalpine BOHLER Edelstahl, we carry an extensive range of their stainless steels, duplex and super duplex stainless steels and nickel alloys. However, they both offer a broader portfolio than we choose to stock, and so will place mill orders outside of our stock range if that meets our customer requirements.

Also, if a customer would prefer the simplicity of a single-source approach, often combined with call-off stocking arrangements, we have the flexibility and financial resources to place customer-specific items into our stock.

If we don’t think the enquiry is for us, we will very quickly decline it and suggest a possible alternative source.
