The Clampseal^® valve is an ingeniously simple design, the basic valve is comprised of only nine components. The valves are lightweight, tough and durable, but most significantly the valve is much easier to renew than any other globe valve on the market. When inspection or servicing is required, Clampseal^® valves do not need to be cut out (as do most other welded-in valves). They offer in-line renewal performance, meaning that they can be inspected or maintained without the need to cut them from the system. They are designed with a secure, leak-proof bonnet which allows rapid access to valve trim for inspection and maintenance. The result is the shortest downtime and lowest life-cycle costs in the industry. A complete service, including a reground seat, new packing or stem replacement can often be accomplished in less than thirty minutes.

Clampseal^® urea service valves are designed for high-pressure piping of urea reactors, strippers and condensers where they will be exposed to urea process fluids, nitric acid or ammonium carbonate. The valves utilise a pressure-actuated backseat to provide a positive internal stop for the valve stem and disc assembly, ensuring optimum valve integrity. They are available in three formats (Y, T and Angle) with a high degree of interchangeability amongst the key components.

Ferralium^® 255-SD50 is utilised in the critical seat, stem and gland components where high erosion resistance is required. This unique super duplex stainless steel provides superior erosion resistance, which is demonstrated in a number of our product brochures as well as 3^rd party technical papers available from our website. Excellent corrosion resistance is also a given, particularly in the acids and chemicals associated with urea manufacture. As such, Ferralium^® 255-SD50 is identified by a number of the leading equipment design authorities as a preferred alloy specification for valves and pumps in such processes.
