This paper examines the performance of a wide number of alloys for use in parts of a nuclear fuel processing facility. Although quite a specific application, it usefully considers performance of these alloys in an aggressive solution of HNO3-HF. Ferralium® performs well, comparable with a number of significantly more expensive nickel alloys.
